On 15th of May 2015 in Thessaloniki (Greece) held a specific meeting of the industrial partners with Food Federations representatives in order to discuss how to implement effectively the design at laboratory scale of the reformulated NU-AGE industrial food products. »

The second discussion of the "The Spirit of Entrepreneurship" series took place on Tuesday 31st of March and was co-organized by the National and Technical University of Athens, Athens University of Economics and Business and the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Greece. The event focused on the Agro-Food sector. Mrs V. Papadimitriou, Director General of the Federation of Hellenic Food Industries, made an introduction to the discussion. »

On December 5, 2014 held at the HILTON Hotel in Athens, the Greek-Turkish Business Forum, with the presence of the two Prime Ministers, Mr A. Samara & Mr D. Davoutoglou. The President of SEVT, Mr. E. Kaloussis, gave a speech at the Forum, indicating that the Greek Food & Beverage Sector isone of the most dynamic, competitive and outward-oriented sectors and plays a major role in Greek economy »

Mr. E. Kaloussis, SEVT President, participated in an event of Economic Chamber of Eastern Crete, held under the "Economic Thought Week", which was organized for 16 years in the presence of representatives of all the productive and economic actors. »

The development of Greek agriculture with core organizing farmers into viable organizations with outward orientation, was the dominant axis of the 1st Panhellenic Conference of the company GAIA, held on 26 and 27 November. 27 speakers from different sectors gave a clear signal for the future of agriculture. »

On Sunday, November 2, 2014, the Hellenic Association of Food Technologists, organised a Workshop on "Technology-Innovation in meat and dairy products processing" during the exhibition MeatDays & DairyExpo 2014. »

It is at the SIAL in Paris that ECOTROPHELIA Europe has just announced the prize winners, distinguishing the best food innovation by university teams from 16 countries. Future engineers of the European food industry have demonstrated their ability to respond to new consumer trends. »

The Corporate Responsibility Institute - CRI, organized on June 11, 2014, at the Goulandris Museum of Natural History, the award ceremony for the companies that stood out in 2013 for their performance in the implementation of responsible corporate practices under the National Corporate Responsibility Index (CR Index). »

Τhe 3rd International ISEKI, Food Conference on "Food Science and Technology for a Bioeconomy 2020" held on 21-23 May 2014, in Athens. The conference was organized by the ISEKI-Food Association, the European ISEKI Program, FOOD 4 and National Technical University of Athens. Mrs V. Papadimitriou, Director General joined the round table discusion on topic «Industry meets Academia and PhD programmes». »

For the first time in Greece Sustainable Development is a common goal, a common pursuit and framework for cooperation between the Greek market, the civil society and the Greek State. This was the dominant message of the inaugural event held by the QualityNet Foundation, the Network of Responsible Organizations and Active Citizens, at the presentation of the Initiative «Sustainable Greece 2020» in Athens, on 29th of April 2014. »

The CEO Forum 2014 was organized by Self-Service Magazine and Boussias Communications under the auspices of SEVT, on 15th of April 2014. Mr. E. Kaloussis, SEVT President and Mr Ath. Skordas, Vice-Minister of Development addressed the attendees of the conference. »

The FUSIONS 2nd Regional Platform meeting took place in Athens, on March 14th 2014. The meeting broghut together actors and stakeholders from Southern European Countries. The purpose of the meeting was to exchange knowledge, experiences and good practices and promoting solutions of food wastage prevention and reduction. »

A meeting of the Standing Committee on Production and Trade of the Hellenic Parliament, held on January 9, 2014, to discuss the Bill "Administrative measures, procedures and sanctions in the implementation of EU and national legislation in the fields of food, feed and health and animal welfare and other provisions by the Ministry of Rural Development and Food". »
