The aim of this\u00a0initiative of the European Commission is to help the companies to improve their environmental performances. The project was coordinated by the Federation of Hellenic Food Industries (SEVT), together with 5 other National Food Federations (of Italy, Spain, Slovenia and Portugal). In Greece, the Dairy sector was selected and the cheese Feta, that is produced at the region of Thessaly, was the pilot product.\r\n\r\nThe employees of DELTA factory in Elassona, Thessaly, where the product is produced, provided all necessary information and support throughout\u00a0the testing and contributed to its successful completion.
