YIOTIS S.A., once again this Christmas, stood by vulnerable social groups through meaningful acts of giving. These initiatives were implemented as part of the Corporate Social Responsibility Program “Nourishing with Love,” which contributes to addressing food insecurity across Greece.
In the festive spirit of the season, YIOTIS employees at the company’s headquarters in Peristeri, Attica, carefully prepared 300 packages filled with the company’s popular products for the beneficiaries of the Social Grocery Store of the Municipality of Peristeri. The packages were delivered to the Municipality by a group of employees, in the presence of the Mayor, Mr. Andreas Pachaturidis.
In addition, the company donated its products to the social service “Home Care,” as well as JIOTIS baby food to vulnerable families with infants participating in the social program “By Their Side from the First Day” of the Municipality of Peristeri.
Similar initiatives also took place at YIOTIS S.A.’s factory in Agrinio, where employees prepared food packages to support 85 families assisted by the Holy Church of Agios Dimitrios of the Holy Metropolis of Aetolia and Acarnania. At the same time, the company donated products to the Homeless Support Structure of the Municipality of Agrinio, as well as to the Hellenic Red Cross – Agrinio Branch.
Beyond the volunteer actions of its employees, YIOTIS also supported more than 50 organizations across the country this Christmas. Through the Food Donation Program “Nourishing with Love,” the company continues its steady commitment to supporting families and vulnerable social groups in need.
