The communication and collaboration with the European Union bodies, the development of alliances with the European partners and the participation in policies' shaping are priorities of strategic importance for SEVT.
In that respect, the Federation of Hellenic Food Industries:
- represents the Greek Food Industry and promotes its positions:

- to the Confedeartion of European Food and Drink Industries (FoodDrinkEurope),
- to the European Technology Platform "FOOD FOR LIFE" and to the National Technology Platforms "Food for Life" Network, and
- to the European co-operative schemes.
- provides information to its Members regarding European policies and issues related to the sector.
-participates in European and National projects independently or as member of SPES GEIE and ECOTROPHELIA EEIG
