1st Corporate Social Responsibility Report

ION S.A. published its first CSR report that presents the vision, the values, the objectives and the commitments of the Company, on social responsibility and sustainable development related issues. Through its new Corporate Responsibility strategy, ION wishes to enhance its positive impact both on its business activities and towards its stakeholders. The report presents the current status of the company, its core values, its brands, the organization, the employees, as well as the key financial data. ‘Essentiality’ is a top priority for the Company. The report also presents the initiatives undertaken by the Company throughout 2018 on main Corporate Responsibility pillars (employees, society, environment, market). The Company aims at ensuring the high quality of its products, a safe and good working environment, the protection of the ecosystem, a balanced and responsible business operation. This is, after all, the only way for the business to be viable and grow.
