The ECOTROPHELIA Europe Champions League final selected the most innovative products in the frame of the FoodMattersLive exhibition, on November 21st and 22nd in London UK. With 16 participating countries – including for the first time Portugal, ECOTROPHELIA confirmed his position of European leader laboratory in food innovation. New consumer trends, progress in eco-conception, industrial process, flavors and textures.The future food engineers imagination is pushing forward the food industry in order to conceive together tomorrow’s food. A pool of talent, skills and innovation for the food industry, an educational model for higher education in Europe, ECOTROPHELIA Europe has from 2011 motivated the organization of 115 national competitions, involving 550 universities and more than 3500 students. A hundred of products issued from ECOTROPHELIA Europe have been manufactured and reached the market.

The 2017 Winners

  • The ECOTROPHELIA EUROPE – GOLD PRIZE was awarded to the GREECE team for AVOYOG Smoothie Beverage.
  • The ECOTROPHELIA EUROPE – SILVER PRIZE was awarded to the UNITED KINGDOM team for Yasai Cauliflower Rice Sushi.
  • The ECOTROPHELIA EUROPE- BRONZE PRIZE was awarded to the SLOVENIA team for OnMyWhey.
  • The ECOTROPHELIA EUROPE JURY’S “COUP DE COEUR” awarded by Department of Vaucluse was awarded to the FRANCE team for  Croc&Vie.
  • The ECOTROPHELIA EUROPE Special “COMMUNICATION STRATEGY” PRIZE by EEIG ECOTROPHELIA EUROPE – F4G was awarded to the GERMANY team for Mixcuit.
